- Jeff and Ginny Mitchell know and love the Treasure Coast of Florida. Grandparents moved here in 1958 after buying an orange grove. Parents decided to join the Florida branch of the family after retiring from manufacturing. We became property owners here about 20 years ago and after Jeff's career in manufacturing and Ginny's early retirement from teaching at every level from nursery school to college courses, we moved here permanently about 10 years ago - our life-long goal.
Now we enjoy welcoming others to the joys of living in Florida -- somewhat like being on vacation all the time. Jeff particularly likes public service, fishing and golf. Ginny prefers charitable work and tennis, but mostly we relish our ability to play and work outside all year. Think about weather that varies from an average of 74 degrees in the winter to 84 degrees in the summer. Living in this ocean-front county, we usually have a balmy breeze to fan us.
Our grown children live in Charlotte, North Carolina, Wilton, Connecticut, and Atlanta, Georgia. Ask us about our perfectly wonderful five grandchildren, and we will try to be brief and modest, but it will be an effort.
