There were 7 sales on North Hutchinson Island. This is the 3rd best January over the last 9 years. However, sales were down from last month and from January 2011. Inventory of units listed for sale dropped a little from 235 to 231. This inventory does not include the approximately 61 units for sale in a new condo development.
Traffic and showings are heavy at ourHutchinsonisland office so we expect sales to be brisk this season.
Condo sales ran from $132,500 for a 7th floor 1050 sq ft bank-owned oceanfront unit in Ocean Harbour South to a 5th floor oceanfront 2700 sq ft SE corner unit in Oceanique that sold for $680,000. The best deal was probably an 18th floor corner unit in Seabreeze that went for $320,000. Other sales were in The Breakers, Ocean Harbour North, Atlantic View and Hibiscus. There were noHutchinsonIslandsingle family houses sold in January.
